Blog EntryThe First Week of School 08Jun 21, '08 10:48 AM
for everyone
Let me start of by saying that this school year is WAY DIFFERENT than before. Everything's so... rushed. In a hurry. Complicated. I was already feeling the pressure on the second day of school. I even made a HUGE MISTAKE by making a VERY BAD IMPRESSION to my chinese teacher. She'll be shocked to know that one of her best top students five years ago was my sister -but she doesn't know that. Anyway, all I can say is, 3rd year life is hard. I hope I'll do well this year! O.o

Blog EntryGood-bye, Frizziness!Jun 10, '08 11:57 AM
for everyone

I put a lot of thought to this. At first I decided not to do it because I want to have a "natural" hair, but due to all the urging I got, I finally gave in and did it. I got my hair relaxed.

I never thought that relaxing your hair would be so...painful. Yup, you heard me. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy at all. First they put some gooey chemical all over my hair -that was also when the pain started to arrive. No sooner, I was grasping the arms of my chair holding on for dear life. (I sure sound like a drama queen right now. Haha!) But seriously, it hurt. A LOT. Fortunately, it didn't last long. It only took a few minutes before they rinsed all the gooey stuff off my hair. I'm glad to tell you that all the hardwork, not to mention, tolerance -paid off. I really like my new hair!

The stylist said I wasn't supposed to shampoo and/or clip, tie, mess up my hair for 3 days, though. 3 days!!! Argh. How can I last that long?

Well, whatever. At least my hair looks better now. Good-bye frizziness! (at least, temorarily.)

Blog EntryTotal BlurMay 30, '08 1:42 AM
for everyone

This summer has been such a blur, and I noticed that time passes quickly. In less than two weeks, we will all be back in our school desks -or rather, vandalized armchairs. Just the sound of it makes me want to turn back time. Anyhow, I have to go though life whether I like it or not. I have been doing nothing these past few weeks other than surfing the net, watching TV shows, reading, and eating -which is why there's no better time than to write a new entry for a blog that I hadn't even bothered for months. I guess there's nothing interesting about anything that has happened to me over these past few days, which is why I hadn't tried to compose anything. As you guys can see, my site's layout has been updated once again. It's another one of those girly themes that I desperately searched for. Hope you guys like it as much as I do! :]

I only remebered a little bit on what had happened this summer. Let's see... there was that time when I went shopping with Camille [a.k.a. Yumi] in Greenhills. We actually planned to go with another friend, but her parents won't allow her to go anywhere else before their trip to Canada. That was such a bad news :[ There were also times when I surfed the web for hours searching for more members to join our very own club, the IGC, which stands for the International Girls Club. I have the link posted on the links section if you want to pay us a visit. Oh yeah, I have a new [and is now getting a little bit old] haircut. "New" isn't really the right word anymore, is it? It's almost June, and I got this in April. I have to admit, this haircut is my most favorite of all haircuts I have received. Now I have side bangs, and my hair is shorter than what I had in my whole entire high school life, and ever the latter part of my elementary years. I'm even planning to relax my hair now! I'll keep you updated on how it goes soon. Our house is being renovated, too. We like to call it as Major Renovation -considering our whole house is totally undergoing a major makeover. Have you ever seen the show Extreme Makeover? Wait 'til you see our new house! :] These things have their advantages, but more importantly -disadvantages. As you can see, we haven't had time to go abroad this summer, like we always do every year. We can't just leave all the workers at our place while we're miles away doing who-knows-what. What if we get back and discovered that we have nothing left, except, well, nothing! So, we had to sacrifice our trip to Hong Kong. I've never been there before, and I just want to see what Hong Kong Disneyland looks in real life. Well, I guess there will be a next time for everything.

I might as well try to enjoy the rest of my summer as much as possible and prepare for school at the same time. I suggest you should do the same thing. Cya guys soon! :D

Blog EntryField Day SY 07-08Feb 6, '08 1:42 AM
for everyone

Today's our Field Day at school.. We played outdoor games like the Three-Legged Race, Tug of War, Survivor's Flag Race, etc. I actually didn't join any of those.. I just joined the Extra-Challenge in which there is Q&A (question and answer). Here's how it goes... There are 6 people in a group, and there are 5 boxes. In a box, there are cards, each differing in color, and each with a question written on it. The 5 people will take turns getting the cards on each box and answering the questions.. It's not that easy as it looks... Every person should get the same color of card. For example, the 1st person got the color yellow in the 1st box, so the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th person should also get the same color in their respective boxes. Not only that, but the boxes are also full of other trash that gets you mixed up. After we find all the cards, we'll tell the 6th person our final answers, and he/she will go to the officer and dictate them to him/her. I forgot how long we did it.. I think about 3+ minutes?

Anywayz, after all the sections from different levels played all the games, the officers will tally the scores and announce to us who's the winner on each level. And guess what? Our section DIDN'T win! HURRAY! *just being sarcastic* At first I actually thought that we will win at least 2nd or 3rd place.. Anyway, we lose at this stuff..., u know, sports.. Some people in other sections even said we're mentally good, but physically poor.. But... just because were in star section doesn't mean we're physically weak right?? Well, I'm gonna stick to our motto: "WIN OR LOSE, TEAM MATES!"

Go Le Magnifique! Go 2-6!!!

Blog EntryIt's Christmas!Dec 24, '07 9:52 PM
for everyone

I can't beleive it's really Christmas again! Yesterday, we opened the gifts, and guess what? Most of the things that I got are PINK! Pink bags, pink ballpens, pink jewelries, a pink pencil box, and lots of other pink stuff!... I'm not saying that I really, really LOVE pink, the color's OK.. but I still prefer purple.. ^^  <now don't get me wrong, I love your gifts!>

So anywayz.. I just wanted to thank all the ppl (esp. my classmates) for staying with me throughout the year, for being with me when I needed company, for cheering me up when I have problems, for laughing with me when I'm depressed... I really hope that our friendship will grow more as the years come by!

====================

I WANT TO WISH EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS! MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! =D

Blog EntryA Trip to ChinaNov 4, '07 7:17 AM
for everyone
I just came home from China and i'm SOOO tried...! We went there for four days (didn't go to the cemetery anymore) to have a nice vacation and to visit my sister who went there for a study tour. Our first day in China was the WORST. We walked the Great Wall and it was almost 2 degrees outside! I was freezing to death so I wore full winter gear, with the gloves and everything. Haha... we looked like we we're traveling through Siberia.. Anyway, after that, we went to the wax museum to look at some ancient chinese history and stuff.., took a couple of pictures (which i'll be posting soon) then went shopping the next day.. The place is small but filled with awesome stuff! We also went to the Forbidden City and walked for about 2+ hours then rode a taxi to a weird chinese place.. At first I became bored and sleepy, but when we reached the ocean, i was awed by it's breath-taking view. And yesterday, we went to the Beijing Zoo. Our main purpose there is to see the panda (never saw one before, haha) but we also saw a lot of different animals. At night, we went to dinner at a near-by place with my sister who just came home from a trip.. nothing much after that.. just went shopping again... All in all, it was a very exciting trip.

Blog Entry1st Day of P.T. 07Aug 15, '07 5:35 AM
for everyone

Ugh. First day of the periodic tests. I hate the sound of it. And today, I'm hating it even more... Not because of the tests, but because I was assigned to a different classroom full of people from different levels.. yeah, i know, its always like that during P.T. days.. you will be assigned to a different classroom w/ different people.. Okay, let me explain a little further.. We have 3 days of periodic tests every grading.. during the 3 days, you will be classmates with the same people, but each day, you will have to change classrooms and teachers/proctors.. You're classmates will only change every grading. So anywayz, I was assigned to a seat at the back surrounded by boys I do not recognize, except for some (I think they are 3rd year students). I do not even know why they all seem to know each other. Luckily, I was classmates with my best friend, Camille Valerie.. but the problem is, she's seated in the 2nd row while I'm in the 2nd to the last row.. There are also disadvantages being at the back.. For one, I could'nt read a single word in the blackboard just becuse I forgot to bring my stupid eyeglass! I even humiliated myself many times, but I think I don't need to go in details anymore. People we're already lookng at me. This day can't get any worse...

Oh yeah, do we have classes tomorrow? I can't believe I'm saying this but, I hope so.. just for this week, coz I want everything to be done by Friday.. I don't want to have the tests postponed, so I can finally relax this weekend.

Blog EntryNo Classes!Aug 8, '07 12:37 AM
for everyone
Exactly 10 hours ago, I woke up and started preparing for school.. Then I heard rain poring outside, that lifted my hopes up.. But anywayz, I still finished my morning preparations and went to school. In the car, the news people suddenly annonced that there will be NO CLASSES on all levels in QC.. So we went back home. Today, we were supposed to have a test in Chinese and there were a lot of requirements (compilation of test papers, reviewers--- stuff like that) due. I was CRAMMING last night because of those, and now, there's no classes? But at least I've already finished all those things and I don't need to do anything anymore.. Except maybe study for Hua Gi long test.. (NOT a nerd. I'm just studious.., I think) Anywayz, It's not raining anymore.. maybe I'll go outside and get some fresh air? Uhh.. no. I'd rather stay here in front of the computer.. I'll just study LATER! lol ;)

Blog EntryTaiwan PerformanceJul 18, '07 10:23 AM
for everyone
Oh God.. I'm still dreading about yesterday.. we actually performed the things that we learned in Taiwan in front of EVERYONE. Well, not exactly everyone in Grace, but almost everyone in the high school department. It was so embarrasing! We sang Wo De Mama, Find Us Faithful, and worst of all, we performed Wushu (martial arts) with all eyes staring straight at us! My brother was even laughing at me.. he even said my group in Wushu was the worst of all..  =(  Well, life must go on... and I will at least TRY to forget about yesterday..
